Planet IPX-2200 is a telephone system designed and optimized for use in small and medium-sized business environments. The device supports registration of up to 200 users/devices, is easy to install and manage. The system offers features such as centralized call management, auto attendant, voice conferencing, voice access to external PSTN, GSM or VoIP telephone networks, call recording or voicemail. It supports VoIP internet providers and thus allows complete removal and replacement of dependency on classic telephone services.
The web management interface is also available in the Czech language.
This is a telephone PBX that, with additional modules, allows handling up to 8 external circuits to PSTN or GSM telephone networks. It can therefore be fully integrated into existing telephone systems. The PBX is suitable for smaller installations with support for all features we are accustomed to with classic PBX systems. It extends them with email integration and management via a web browser. The BLF (Busy Lamp Field) function allows selected endpoint devices to signal line status.
The PBX acts as a VPN server or client for more secure connections between participants, and integrates a FAX server for receiving and sending messages exclusively electronically.
Standard SIP VoIP telephone devices from any manufacturer can be registered with the PBX. To expand integration possibilities into the analog telephone network, it can be supplemented with supported voice gateways.
Pay close attention to securing the IPX PBX against access from the internet — it is not necessary and is advisable not to expose it to a public IP address (preferably place it behind a firewall and NAT). In the firewall, allow only traffic to the SIP registration server and block all other traffic.
If you do not use international calls, have outgoing calls disabled or limited to a maximum daily spend by your VoIP provider (as protection against call abuse by an attacker).
