The module allows communication at speeds of up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 300 m, making it suitable for optical network distribution within a company or for shorter backbone routes, e.g. between individual apartment buildings.
The module is specifically designed for MikroTik RouterBoards, see related products. The module is powered directly from the device. The MiniGBIC is equipped with a latch for easy removal from the SFP slot. The module is designed for 2x LC connectors.
