Planet IPX-1100 is a telephone system designed and optimized for use in small and medium-sized business environments. The device supports registration of up to 100 users/devices, is easy to install and manage. The system offers features such as centralized call management, auto attendant, voice conferences, voice access to external PSTN, GSM or VoIP telephone networks, call recording and voicemail. It supports VoIP internet telephony providers, allowing complete elimination and replacement of traditional telephone services.
The PBX acts as a VPN server or client for more secure connections between participants, and integrates a FAX server for sending and receiving messages exclusively electronically.
Standard SIP VoIP telephone handsets from any manufacturer can be registered with the PBX. To extend integration capabilities into the analog telephone network, it can be supplemented with supported voice gateways.
Pay close attention to securing the IPX PBX against access from the internet — it is not necessary and is advisable not to expose it to a public IP address; instead, place it behind a firewall and NAT. In the firewall, allow only traffic to the SIP registration server and block all other traffic.
